Shopify B2B Developer
Customer-specific pricing, trade accounts and approval flows built into Shopify — for buyers who reorder the same lines every month, not first-time shoppers.

Built for the fortieth order, not the first.
A consumer storefront assumes a stranger, browsing, deciding what to buy. A trade buyer already has an account, a price list and the same forty lines they order every month.
We build on Shopify’s B2B model — companies, locations and catalogues — so the storefront a retail customer sees and the one your trade account sees can show entirely different prices for the same product, without either knowing the other exists.
One catalogue, priced differently for every account

B2B on Shopify isn’t retail with a login screen added. It runs on a different data model, with its own rules for who sees what, who can buy it, and who has to sign off before it ships. We build directly on that model, rather than working around it.
Every trade account setup we build covers the same ground:
- Company profiles with multiple buyers underneath them, each with their own login, permissions and spending limit.
- Customer-specific price lists, so a named company sees its negotiated rate the moment it logs in, with no manual discount codes involved.
- Quantity rules on individual products — minimums, maximums and order increments — so an account can’t order outside what you’ve agreed with them.
- Payment terms built into checkout, so an account can order against an invoice rather than paying by card every time.
- Approval flows for orders above a threshold, routing to whoever in the buying company needs to sign off.
- Restricted catalogues, so an account only ever sees the products it’s entitled to buy.
- Draft orders for anything negotiated by phone or email, so a manually agreed price still runs through Shopify’s checkout and reporting.
We build this on Shopify’s own B2B objects rather than a bolt-on app, and connect pricing back to your accounting or ERP system through the Admin API where the numbers need to originate outside Shopify.
Shopify B2B developer, answered.
What does B2B development on Shopify cost?
It depends on how many pricing tiers you run, how approval routing needs to work, and how many buyers sit inside each account. We scope the exact rules with you first, then give you a fixed, itemised quote before any work starts.
Can different customers see different prices for the same product?
Yes. That's the core of what we build — price lists tied to named companies, so a trade customer logs in and sees their rate automatically, with no discount code to remember or apply. Retail visitors see the standard price, unaware the trade tier even exists.
Can one company account have several buyers under it?
Yes. We build company profiles that support multiple buyer logins, each with its own permissions, spending limit or approval requirement — so a purchasing team can order independently while the account owner keeps oversight of everything that goes through.
Can you set minimum or maximum order quantities per product?
Yes. Quantity rules can enforce a minimum, a maximum or an order increment on any product or catalogue, so an account only ever orders in the amounts you've agreed with them.
Can we require sign-off on larger orders before they're placed?
Yes, that's a standard part of the build. Orders above whatever threshold you set get routed to an approver before they're confirmed, so nobody on a buying team can commit the company to spend they're not authorised for.
How long does a B2B build take?
Most trade account builds are measured in weeks rather than months, though scope varies with how many tiers and rules you need. You'll have a firm timeline once we've scoped the account structure with you, before any work begins.
